Rx Gaming Lock IN Fundraiser
Join us for our annual gaming fundraiser on Jan 31st at Velocity Esports in Newport/Cincy!
This "lock-in" is open to the public for anyone who purchases a ticket! This is a fundraising event that raises money for Rx Gaming Charity and helps support our normal monthly events year round!
The event will be held at Velocity Esports in Cincinnati/Newport from Friday evening through Saturday morning!
Before the lock-in from 6pm to close Velocity Esports will be open with 15% of food sales being donated to Rx Gaming! Velocity will also be selling arcade cards with a portion of proceeds donated to Rx Gaming. This pre lock-in is wonderful way to support Rx Gaming for the whole family.
After Velocity closes the lock-in begins! Gaming and activities will continue through the late night and early morning!!! Get your ticket now for access to the overnight lock-in.
(To clarify: at the "Lock-In" you are NOT actually locked in. You will be free to leave anytime you would like)
Lock IN
Included with your ticket is general admission to the event with multiple activities including:
PC Gaming
20 Gaming PCs set up with gaming chairs, peripherals, and games connected to High Speed Internet. Available to reserve in 2 hour increments. (Max 4 hours). Reserve a time slot when you get your tickets!
Retro Gaming
Multiple retro gaming stations including NES, SNES, N64, Xbox 360, and more. Multiple stations and games available!
Arcade Games
Arcade games at Velocity during the lock-in!
MTG
Multiple Magic: The Gathering tables!
DnD
We will have a DND campaign with a special guest DM! The campaign will be near the beginning of the night. Sign up when you get your ticket to reserve a spot at the table!
Mario Kart Live
We will be running a Mario Kart Live circuit
Halo 3
Sign up with your team to take the championship in our HALO 3 tournament! Sign ups will be live at the event with games happening throughout the night!
Smash
Bring 1$ bills for our friendly smash tournament with split proceeds going to further our mission of helping gamers with disabilities!
Food
-We will provide a midnight snack/meal and breakfast Saturday morning
-Alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase through Velocity until 2am!
-Non-alcoholic beverages and snacks will be available to purchase through Rx Gaming! (Free for Empower Club Members)
Music
We will have a live DJ, ThunderTracs, providing music for our event. He will be showcasing his new album including some lofi hip hop beats.
Debate This
The Debate This Podcast Team will be recording a live podcast during the event!
Paper Frog Studio
Paper Frog Studio will be in attendance to give demos of their new game Notebook Knockout

We will be able to accept card payments but would recommend bringing some cash if you want to play in the $1 tournaments or to make it easier buying raffle tickets!
Under 18?
-All attendee's under 18 will need to be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian and will need to be supervised by that guardian. An adult ticket will be required for all child tickets.
